Joy Beyond Grief – Retreat


This is a long weekend retreat for anyone struggling with grief. This retreat is designed to give you support, creative ways to help you with your loss, tools and a safe space to explore your feelings and much more.


Grief is such an individual experience and has such a profound effect on every aspect of us and those around us.

About the retreat


This retreat is for you if:


  • You have experienced bereavement of a family member, a friend or work colleague or if you have lost a pet.
  • You have had a relationship breakdown
  • You have lost your job
  • You have felt loss through financial problems


Whatever your loss this retreat will help you to cope, understand and move through your grieving experience.

Tyddyn Retreat


This retreat will be held at Tyddyn Retreat, Tyddyn y Pwll, Carno, Caersws, Powys, SY17 5JU


Tyddyn Retreat is in the beautiful Welsh countryside, where glorious walks are available in all directions. The accommodation is cosy and comfortable with log burners and all the facilities you will need along with fabulous food.


Outside the venue, is some magical land which includes a dingle (deep cut streams & pond, with tall oak trees above), stone circle with campfire, tipi, two meadows and lots of different outdoor seating – for some private reflection time or conversation with others. Campfires together in the Stone Circle are also available.


The highest level of International Dark Skies rating at Tyddyn Retreat, with the Milky Way visible. So you could perhaps wrap up in a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate and just soak in the starry nights?
